Interested in leading an Invest in Girls Club? RSVP now for our “Be the CFO of Your Life” Teacher Training!
Give the girls in your school the confidence and skills to take charge of their financial futures. This interactive training prepares teachers to launch and lead an Invest in Girls after-school club—an empowering program that helps high school girls build financial knowledge, career awareness, and real-world confidence.
What’s Covered at Training
During this session, participants will:
Explore the Be the CFO of Your Life curriculum and learn how each module equips girls with lifelong decision-making skills.
Practice leading core activities on budgeting, saving, credit, financial identity, and building confidence with money.
Learn how to facilitate mentor conversations and speed-networking with female finance professionals.
Receive tools to host engaging club meetings—including facilitator guides, student handouts, pacing suggestions, and recruitment strategies.
Understand how Invest in Girls aligns with personal financial literacy standards, workforce development goals, and the broader mission of empowering girls to lead in their schools and communities.
Review the expectations of a Tulsa EnrichED club leader including entering attendance in Tulsa’s Integrated Data System for Expanded Learning (TIDEL), Bill.com for payment, and important program guidelines.
Clubs will run twice this Spring: in “Round 1” and “Round 2,” each time with different youth participating.
You are asked to meet one day a week, but are welcome to choose what day works best for your schedule!
Supplies and materials will be provided.
Teachers will leave fully prepared to start a club right away, even if they don’t consider themselves “money experts.” If you can support students, you can lead an Invest in Girls club—we’ll give you the structure and confidence you need.
