Learn more about the why:

Tulsa EnrichED offers educators and other school staff the opportunity to be compensated for leading enriching and engaging Out-of-School-Time programs. These programs are most often afterschool clubs such as Girls Who Code, Lego Club, Basketball Club, Chess Club, Art Club, Theater Club, Drum Circle, Gardening Club, and Sewing Club, just to name a few. For many students, these clubs offer their only chance to receive fine art programming such as theater and art because their schools do not have full-time music or art teachers.

Photographed here is a group from Marshall Elementary during an afterschool session of an educator-led club called Making a Difference. The Making a Difference Club’s goal is to perform community service work within their school and community. They also do team-building activities where they learn from adults in our community who are making a difference.

Afterschool clubs provide parent engagement opportunities:

Soccer Coach Lucia Figuoroa, whose team is pictured below, shared, “…parents are very involved. Students learn that you win and you lose games. Our Little Kickers Soccer Club has been a unique opportunity for our younger students to get involved in afterschool clubs. “
